Proper planning of urbanisation is necessary to keep the environment healthy and sustainable . Development of infrastructure , economic and social aspects of an area is the basic ground for urbanisation. Unmanned urbanisation plays vital role in degrading the environment . It is difficult to manage if the process of urbanisation is rapid .Human activities that harm the environment are increasing day by day due to increasing population . It has became difficult to control increasing population . They are doing such activities that are helping in environmental degradation . unmanaged urbanisation causes several problems in the society . There will be over exploitation of natural resources,unsystematic settlements population pressure, improper management of solid wastes etc . These deteriorate the quality of environment . One of them is serious problem .Causes of environmental degradation are as follows 1.Deforestation 2.Industrial pollution3.
